What do I choose to do when I finish school?

im nealy finished school and im so confused! im good at lots of things, interested in sooo many including psychology, food styling, fashion design. I want to have a gap year but none of my friends are and they think it will be too hard to get back into studying, is this true? I really want a break! also I have to shoose between uni, tafe, college (im Australain btw) what should I do when I finish school?

your friends are right about it being hard to get back into studying. if you do take that year off and just relax or whatever, by the time you have to go back to school would you really want to? because after goofing off or whatever for so long then having to go back to school and work it’s like you become lazy. it’s all about discipline there. you have to make yourself go back whether you want to or not

as for the matter of not knowing what you want to do after your’e done with school, well it’s like my mom always told me (I’m having that problem too) if I’m not sure what I want to do in life then stop and think ‘ what am I passionate about’? Or in other words what do you really enjoy doing? so for example say you really enjoy teaching, well what jobs involve teaching? teacher, etc..

it all basically comes down to what you enjoy. I mean who wouldn’t like getting paid to do something they like?
