What to do if I have just finished school and miss it already?

So I’m 18 years old, and have recently finished school (12th grade). The problem is, that I really miss it already.. even if it’s only few days of leaving school. I even sometimes cry because I want to be back. Now that I’ve finished school, there isn’t really much to do. Plus, I’m used to getting up at the morning at a certain hour to go to school, and now, there’s nothing, nothing to do. Now I will be seeing my classmates very occasionally, and won’t be seeing my friends every day. I’m going to miss all of my classmates sooo much.. In addition, this was the first year that I befriend a girl (because I’m shy), but our friendship is week yet, as it’s not been long for being friends. And now, we won’t be seeing each other every day, and I really feel that our friendship might end at it’s beginning. Oh my god!! It really kills me when I think about it!!! What should I do?? Please someone help me get rid of this feeling!!… Why am I feeling like this while the rest of my friends are partying for leaving school?! And does anybody have any tips on how to fill my empty time?

Thanks…

well you gotta text them or call somebody. Get a group of people together, a small group and tell that girl to invite one of her friends or something. then go chill at the mall or the movies or something. Just try to chillax. You’re relationship with your friends isn’t going to end unless you let it. Just call them up a lot and make plans to go somewhere and invite them. Get out of the house a lot. If you don’t have one, get a job. work out. eat healthy. Even better, go to college. do all of those things and you’ll start feeling better, trust me. just do it.

This happened to me after I finished school. Its like you are stuck in a sort of ‘Limbo’. You aren’t living for anything, you aren’t doing anything at the moment. You need to stay in contact with the girl you were friendly with, and your classmates. Send them a text just saying whats up to keep in contact, or organize a girls night with some girls from your class. Make sure you go to all the parties, even if you don’t know the host, or don’t really feel like going.

You need to occupy yourself. Get a job, even if its part time. Preferably somewhere social where you interact with people. Like serving customers at a cafe or in a shop. Join a sports team if thats what you are into, or a crafts workshop. Start a hobby to devote your spare time to. Eg: make a blanket, paint your room, start making jewelry, art classes, or collecting things. Volunteer work is very self satisfactory. See if your local rest-home, animal shelter, or kindergarten needs any help once a week. All of these things give you something to look forward to, and to fill your time. Don’t rush yourself off your feet, but don’t wallow around the house all day as believe me, that makes it worse.
