You just proved my point. I must say, I like your oh so godly like behaviour. You are exactly the reason Myself and many others left Christianity. You throw your beliefs in our faces and when we give an argument back, you completely ignore it and throw a HUGE tantrum like a 3-year old kid.

If you want to preach, please, at least learn more about the religion than the people you are trying to have a debate with. There are many highly intelligent theists. It’s crazy, how you just judge atheists without finding out what exactly they believe, expect them to read their bible, yet have never read the theory of evolution and make incorrect and immature statements. But then again, I’m not surprised, considering that is how most uneducated Christians behave.

Atheist describes what you don’t believe rather than what you do.

There are many kinds of atheists just like there are many kinds of theists.

Do you believe in the classical gods? Norse Gods? Hindu Gods?

The difference between a Christian and an atheist is the atheist disbelieves in one more god than Christians do. When you look at other religions and find them absurd you will understand how most atheists feel about Christianity. Believers can easily see the absurdity of every religion except their own.

Religious faith…is an accident of birth and enculturation.

(If you don’t know the term, use a dictionary). Given that…the better question is: every culture has their own creation story. What makes an imposed and imported one more correct? Virtue of the slaughter, greed and evil that drove such belief system to become dominant?

I have my faith. However, I also know that such a belief system is flawed…as there isn’t any such faith that can hold up in the light of reason and logic.

It depends on the atheists. Some atheists don’t really believe in anything and certainly do not believe that there is a god. Other atheists accept the theory evolution to help explain the world them.

I am agnostic. Although religion fascinates me I.e. how people can believe certain things. I don’t see the possibility of a god existing, yet I can’t prove it. I also feel that to practice a religion (personally) would be a waste of time. I also don’t care what happens when I die, in fact I don’t think anything is going to happen.

im an athiest, and as one I dont beleive in any god. also remember that there are more religions and gods than just christianity,I dont think any one of them is right, but I dont care what other people choose to beleive in, as long as it makes them happy I beleive in some kind of afterlife, I beleive humans will still be here in some kind of form, mainly as a spirit the only religious people I truley hate are the ones who go around telling everyone else their wrong and shove their beleifs down those peoples throats
