What can stop flem, someone with a traque?
My bother has a traque and he is producing a lot of flem. He ussually dosen’t, he only produces what a pearson with a traque would, but this morning it started going over boord, meanina that I suction out about 4-5 times an hour, and know I have to do it like 20 times an hour. Does anybody know medice that can stop it, and that I do not need prescribtion for? taking him to the hospital will be my last option because his stays last for two years, He just got out of a 2 year stay at the bigginig of my 8th grade year. And I would like to keep it that way. I have to deal it on my own when he stays on hospetals and all and I don’t want to deal with that right know. If I have to, I will, I just want it to be my last thing to have to go to onmt list. Please if you know any medicine or anathing that can help please let me know. Thanks.
Oh…you must get him to a Dr. He probably has an upper respiratory infection, and with a trach, he’s very suseptable to infections. He won’t end up staying in the hospital for 2 year or anything like that …but he will end up in a hospital, if you don’t get him to the Dr. for some anti-biotics.
This is VERY important…he could drown in all that mucous…make sure he’s sitting somewhat up…no laying down flat.
My mom had a tach for the last 6 years of her life…so I know how important this is…take him to the Dr.
