How to get rid of blackheads and dry skin?

Hi I was just wondering what would be the best thing to get rid of blackheads around my mouth and nose? Also what can I do about dry flaking skin on my face? I use lotion.. when I put my makeup on it looks so flaky! It’s annoying. Can anyone tell me how to stop this??

Although I am a Mary Kay consultant, the best thing is to make sure you wash your face every morning and night. I actually trade up using St. Ives apricot face scrub and the age defying face wash. Afterwards on a clean face…(Mary Kay has the greatest makeup)nothing is better than Oil of Olay original. I am 37 and no signs of wrinkles and clear skin. I do however think everyone should use a quality foundation. Since your face is dry try MK creme to powder foundation. It is soft and just enough moisture to control the flakiness, but not to much to give you oily skin. Also, try using a facial brush to clear the dead cells away.

i use acne free. it works really well with dry skin and there’s three steps to it surrounding pores and blakheads. it worked for me and i thought that i might have to by the expesive proactive but second best cheaper thing made by proactive is acne free, and it works! goodluck! ♥♥

Try some dove facial lotion. There is lotions out there that says, they are a facial lotion. I have one an dove is the brand. But put that on your face right before you go to bed before you put your makeup on and all the time on days you dont have makeup on. Or even better it clears up my face better I got some clean and clear morning glow moisturizer and i put it on before i go to bed

Don’t rub pure salt all over your face; sorry, but that’s horrible advice.

Use a grainy scrub to get right into those pores :] Also, have a cleaning regime, like clinique 3-step or Witch.

I had realy bad dry skin and blackheads until this summer when I went on holidays and started drinking lots of water and cut down on the chocolate! I know you probably are sick of hearing this and so woz I but then I realized that it actually worked! I also noticed by soaking your face in hot/warm water tightens up your skin and gives you dry skin much more easily! xoxox

for the blackheads i think u need an exfoliant it may help dryness too! to exfoliate u basically take dead skin away. im not 100% sure if it works but salt is a natural exfoliant, just put alot of salt in ur hand when ur face is wet and rub it all over it may feel rough and scratchy but ur face will feel soft. all i can say is just try it and if it makes ur skin worse than stop! lol ♥angel
