What are the laws in texas & nebraska on dog breeding?
I was wondering what are the laws in Texas & Nebraska on dog breeding etc.
Because I was hoping to get a puppy in Nebraska when I move there & one of my family member’s that has just move to Texas like 6 months ago is hoping to buy a dog for her daughter’s birthday
Some states have heavy puppymills etc. so I just want to be on the safe side because I don’t want to get a sickly dog
It’s good that you don’t want to get a sick pup from a mill…but I’m hoping also, that you don’t want to support anyone who owns a puppy mill.
If you don’t want to get a dog from the shelter, then GO to kennel or home, of wherever the pup you’re thinking about is…so you can see the parents, and the enviroment they come from.

How ‘nice’ you don’t want to buy from a puppymill because you don’t want a sickly dog.
How about not wanting to buy from a puppy mill because the breeder dogs are tortured and used for nothing but profit and then killed or sold for research when they can no longer produce.
How about not wanting to buy from a puppy mill because it is horrible to treat animals as a cash crop.
How about either adopting a puppy from a shelter, humane society or petfinder.com instead of supporting the breeding and purchase of animals. Petfinder.com offers rescued puppies to adult dogs that are owner surrenders, etc. pure breeds are listed there also.
