What are the cons of the republican economy?

Im doing a debate in school, and I have no clue what to talk about. So if you could please just list like 3 cons of the republican economy, that would be great. I dont need any pros because im a democrat and I need to state why our economy is better. Thanks

What has our country come to…

Look, there is no such thing as a “republican” and a “democratic” economy. All right? Unfortunately, the meanings of “Republican” and “Democrat” have changed so much that they’re far from the meanings of the words “Republic” and “Democracy”.

There is something known as the free market, but unfortunately, even here in the US, that’s becoming a novelty. It’s becoming more of a controlled market, though right now it could be called a mixed market. Essentially, a free market is what exists in a truly Capitalistic economy, and a controlled market is what exists in a socialistic economy. One is controlled by the people, the other is controlled by the government.

Honestly at 13, I think you’re too young and undereducated to be taking political sides. Heck, I’m in college, and am still an independent, and that isn’t changing anytime soon. Don’t let one group or ideology rule your life and decisions; vote for the man, not the party; the whole nine yards.

If you want my honest opinion, it doesn’t matter what party is in control, because the economy can suck either way. However, as of recent, I have begrudged the democrats for some of that shady crap they’ve been pulling. Just gonna make keeping and finding work all the more difficult now.

It’s hard to say what cons are without knowing what is meant by ‘republican economy’. The economy is just the economy. It is neither democratic nor republican.

actually, im 14 and this is a debate for school that I have to do, so I dont have a choice, so dont say im uneducated to be involved in politices FOR SCHOOOL.
