What are the chances of my baby having ADHD or dislexia?

I would love my baby regardless but I mean I just want to know so that I can learn where I can get help controlling these diseaes.

I have two very smart kids, I also have dyslexia. My son is 4 and is my only child in school. I have notified his teachers about my history and we are monitoring him, but as of yet he shows absolutly no signs of any problems. I think hats the best you can do. Be aware and watch for signs, bu you have so many hings to think about I realy would not worry. Even if your baby does have it, as long as hes healthy, is that not what you realy care about?! good luck!!

your baby has a 50 50 chance of getting either of those diseases. your baby could have just one of them, both of them, or niether one of them. you want know until a little while after theyre born. im sure your love your baby reguardless and you turned out ok right??:)

At this point there is no way to tell. It would depend on so many things (including your partner’s DNA). Im not sure how one can come up with a random percentage like 50% from thin air, because it’s not even purely genetic… So there really is no way to answer this question. There’s a higher probability than the general public, but even that doesnt mean much…

My ADHD is controlled it isn’t major but it’s not minor either it’s like inbetween. My Dyslexia is the same. I still have a hard time concentrating and settling down, but I read and write pretty well

I dont think we’ll know for sure until the time that the baby comes out :s you may probably ask your doctor about this or like a child care professional.
