What are the chances of a condm breaking?

One thing I’d add is that if you use an artifical lube make sure it won’t attack latex. That is a common source of failure.

As a form of birth control condoms are pretty dependable when used correctly but not 100%. They can slip off as well as break. If you don’t want to get pregnant it is safest to use other methods in addition to a condom.

Well I always like Trojan condoms and in the 3 1/2 years I was dating my ex, having sex regularly we only had 2 break, both time when she was on top. Also as I always like to buy the ones with spermicide lubricant for a bit of added protection. btw - she never was pregnant.

It varies, if you use it correctly and go medium speed. you’ll be fine.

MOST condoms break when they haven’t been used right. They have directions on the box, in case he’s wondering the proper way to put it on :P

It depends on the quality of them, and if you’re using them properly. Make sure it’s on snugly and accurately, and that’s it’s not a piece of crap. Good ones seldom break. Don’t cheap out on those– No one wants an unwanted pregnancy. :-)
