What are some good tips on how to take the act?

Just tips. And stuff that can help me out. Anything that could possibly help. For instance preparing for it and then actually test taking tips.

I did a couple of things to prepare.

First, I bought a huge “Prep” book from the local bookstore. There’s a whole section in places like Borders, Barnes and Noble, etc that have these types of books.

Then, review the book. Go over the information they give you on what type of things are asked and the test style, then do some of the self-tests that are in the book.

If you still don’t feel prepared, most high schools offer prep classes.If your school doesn’t, look into a national test prep company, such as Kaplan.
