Would you die for what you believe?

would you die for religion, what you think is right, or what should be done according to you. Is that worth living for?

Answer #1

I strongly believe in nihilism…and I don’t think I would die for nothing.

and we are all gonna die, it’s a fact of life, does it matter what we die for if we’re already dead?

Answer #2

I would die for my beliefs because, I would rather live a short life on earth and spend eternity in hevean then spend eternity (or what would seem to be)on earth living in hell.

Answer #3

No. That’s asinine.

Answer #4

There are things/ people I would die for, but in no way to I relate that to my religious beliefs. They’re more personal.

Answer #5

In a word, no. What I believe directs me to keep on going through this life and this existence. Nothing would be gained through my personal death, but something would be lost, as I would no longer be around to represent my ideology.

Answer #6

I would be willing to die so long as I was protecting others in the process. Otherwise, yes, it’d be suicide. Better to try to run or use some other means of escape if possible. But I’m not a liar, either, so if someone asked me if I was Christian, I would tell them the truth. Of course, if weapons start getting drawn, I’ll jump right into self-defense mode.

Answer #7

If you knew you were to die for your religion and actually had the choice to live or die. Wouldn’t it be suicide to choose to die. Which would send you the Hell.

I agree with Mikeh.

Answer #8

I think I would die to avoid listening to Christians talk about their religion, but other than that, there is nothing that I feel the need to die over just to convince someone I’m serious.

Answer #9

I’m a Buddhist, and I would die for many things - my religion is not so much a reason to die, but the values that my religion instill are a reason to die.

It’s not about the label…it’s about the cause.

Answer #10

I would definitely not die for any religion. I don’t have one btw. Waste of time in my opinion, though fascinating how people can get so into it.

Answer #11

Im a christain, and I truly love God. I think that everyone should relize that we all have a wonderful life, and should be living it to the fullest. I would die for my religion. because in the end, thats what is going to happen. I love God, and he has done many things for us all. He watches over us everyday. So yes, I would die, and I also know I would go to a better place. :]

Answer #12

As far as religion goes, I personally would not. I’m all about self preservation. Giving my life to stand up for a concept and to convince other people to accept and believe in that concept is not worth my life. I’m just not that stubborn and proud.

Its difficult to say about other situations and beliefs. However, I doubt I would make a direct decision to sacrifice my life for a belief.

Answer #13

Jesus died for us, so I would die for him. no question about it :) if I was in a country and they threatend to kill me a horrible torturing death if I stay a christian.. I would never turn my back on jesus :) I would die xx

Answer #14

Well, It Depends on what you believe in… if you believe in god and do what he says and asks you then youll be fine. But I Advise that if you believe in being gay or believe in other religions besides christianity… then you won’t know where you will go until you die… but the best thing to do is to follow your heart if you think you shoudl believe in another god then thats you… if you do find out what happens to you when you die .. then youull realize that you did do something wrong. So the answer is no you Won’t die For believing in Your Beliefs god made you for you can belive in stuff so why would he get mad for things that he made for you to do.. For example god made Adam and eve Not adam and steve…or eve and eve… ok so thats an example for your refrence to adjust to the prespective.
