Why do I always have weird dreams?

What does it mean that I almost always have weird dreams? I have always wondering that. Does it mean that I am weird or have a weird mind or something?? LOL

Answer #1

I have really weird dreams too. I’ll tell you about one dream I had recently. I was in a car with a group of people, which could only be some sort of summer group. At least, that’s what it looked like. Anyway, we were driving along some roads which should have been familiar because I was shouting out directions. I wouldn’t have recognised the roads in real life though. We came to a lot of dead ends and detours. At one point, we passed a church which was holding a funeral, but goodness knows what that was about! I remember at another point that the group I was with came into some sort of ghost town. We ended up splitting up and wandering around on our own. I guess they thought it was fun. It was really creepy. Like Silent Hill or something, because I was all alone and I kept seeing shadows and figures moving around a lot. I don’t think I came to any harm, but I definitely was scared. By the time we came back to the group, I think I was shaking. Everyone else was laughing, as though they’d just climbed off a rollercoaster. I don’t really understand what was going on exactly in the dream, but it was really freaky. It felt quite real too.

I can almost garentee that your dreams aren’t as weird as mine XD BUt anyways, it’s basicaly what’s on your subconcies, a time for it to expres itself to you or you to express to yourself etc

Answer #3

Lol, I always have weird dreams. Like this one time I was in a airport and running through it. When all of a sudden the walls become purple and start melting. Then a freaky girl comes up to me and tells me to come with her to a b-day party. Then I follow her and actually go to a birthday party in the airport faculty lounge. It was really weird. When I woke up I was sweating.

Point is, weird dreams happen all the time(No kidding). There’s nothing we can do to control them. But it doesn’t completely reflect on you, so don’t worry.

Answer #4

no. I always have weird dreams and asked a proffesinal why. He told me it is because its the way of clearing out your mind. I learn lots and do lots of new things everyday so I have a lot on my mind. If that is not your problem then I am not able to answer your question and I am really sorry. I will ask someone about your problems. e.g. I had a dream last night that me, my dad, my brother and a friend met andrew johnson the everton player in a normal lounge and we started talking and he became my 3rd best friend. you mightnt find that wierd so far but a fact is that he is my 3rd best player so its strange that he became my 3rd best friend!

What I believe is exactly what thewittyone and aaliyah said.

You do dream some, from what was on your mind at the “going out state” when you are finally at the “complete out state” your mind is freely roaming and going through the things in your life!! I absolutely don’t think you are weird!

I don’t think I am weird, even though my friends probably won’t agree,I have some very bizarre dreams!! Although if you are taking any sort of medicine daily, that could be some of the reason.

Remember when you were little, and your imagination would take you places, and you would really go there? LOL!

Well…I think that is what happens when we go to sleep our imagination takes the things going on in our lives and the things we saw, heard or thought in between “going out & completely out” states and puts them all together and that is what we dream!!

Anyway, just my opinion!

Don’t feel weird, most of us have them too!!

Good Luck with the dreams think happy thoughts!! LOL!! brandared69

No, ur not weird. If I eat too much before bed I have really bad nightmares. If I dont eat at all, I have funny dreams and I usually wake up starving. If ive eating a few hours before I go to bed, I usually have the craziest dreams, and then I wake up thinking– WTF was that. The dreams about people cheating on me that I love, usually happen about twice a month, and then I have those dreams that something tragic has happened to me or to certain people around me. We dream the worst and best sometimes, and nobody can really give you a reason why. We just do.

Answer #7

No your not weird in any sense, according to what i have heard dreams are based on what you do in your daily lives, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you did something weird or because you are weird that is why you are having weird dreams.

But on the other hand everyone has dreams sometimes they can be pleasing, horrifying, or strange, but your dreams don’t tell you that, that is the sort of person you are, they’re just about your daily lives.

Don’t worry about it, hope that helped.

Answer #8

no, i was told that dreams have to do with what you were thinking about right before you fall asleep. But I believe that your mind is just freely roaming and you create scenerios that could or couldn’t happen. So it doesn’t have to do with you or your mind being weird, it could just be that you have a lot of thoughts and that your mind takes all the thoughts then transfers them into weird scenerios. hope it helps xoxo Marissa

Answer #9

The kind of dreams that you have are determined by what you eat before you go to bed.

Answer #10

your dreams are your brain sorting the things you saw and thought that day. dont worry. you are perfectly normal.

Answer #11

Honey, I have wierd dreams all the time. And I love it. Dreams are the best time of the day. I only wish that they created this thing to record your dream so you can rewatch it.
