Do you have to wear a hospital gown during a CT scan of your head?

they aren’t that noticeable or big, so concealer should work…. duh sometimes I forget really simple things. thanks :)

I didn’t have to wear a gown because I was just getting a scan and wasn’t actually staying in the hospital.

I doubt the technician will care if they see scars on your head or neck, their job is to safely run the machine, the doctor, who may not even be in the room might be concerned if he thinks it was a past suicde attempt, but even then they are bound to confidentiality.

I did not have to wear any hospital gown when I was scanned. I just had to remove all magnetic metal.

oh gosh, no they were not from a suicde attempt, and they are on my legs. Thank you for the information though :)

I’m sorry, I always assume the worst. The technicians see a lot of messed up people, if they noticed your scar they forgot about it before their lunch break. Unless it was in the shape of Jesus.

I was more scared of my mom seeing them, and I am not all that religious but a Jesus shaped scar would be pretty impressive lol

No they usually just have u remove necklaces n piercings
