Does waterproof makeup really work?

From my personal experience, cheap make up that claims to be waterproof usually doesn’t work as well as it claims it does. However, the more expensive brand make up that claims to be waterproof works great, and doesn’t run, smear, smudge, rub off, etc… when it gets wet.

The water proof liquid eyeliner at mac for $15 really works, sometimes I take a a shower or cry while having the water proof eyeliner on and it won’t come off.

my friends say it works but i dont wear make up so i dont know

I used mascara, eyeliner & lip gloss, but found it was making me pull extra lashes when trying to remove it so I went back to non waterproof. Comes off easier & minus all the excess lashes. As for the eye liner didnt stay on that long same with the lip gloss.

i think liquid liner on the water line is good to be water proof but not masquera cuz it stays on for days and thn one day ur eyelashes will fall out. its like overproccessing ur hair on ur head but instead ur putting a strong ink tht takes hard scrubbing to get off

Mascara works amazingly well….and some eyeliners

Not mine and it’s like wet and wild or something.Maybe a different kind of one would be the real waterproof.this one is good though if your not going swimming or something because it doesn’t smear during the day under your eyes or anything :)
