No, I don’t think it’s wrong. You realize that they are not your children and you don’t try to claim that they are. If everyone did or said everything they thought about doing or saying, this world would be in even worse shape than it is now. You most likely just think they are beautiful, smart and healthy children and are hoping you can have kids like that yourself in the future.
