What does it mean when you are walking one way and a guy and his friends on the other, and the guy looks at the ground ?

It could mean he likes you if you walk by and his friends start nudging him or something. Or he is shy. But you have to say more of what he does around you to tell.

it totally means he like you but if your his ex he hates you periiod.

And he isn’t shy at all ! I am shy and one day he come up to me and saud “ why are you shy ? “ I said “ because I am “ and he said “ I don’t like shy people. Welll , I don’t hate the people I hate their shyness “ then I told the people I sat next to that I hate when the door opens and closes because I sat like right next to it so he decided to start opening and closing it :) Fun Times ! :|

I think he likes you, but just wants you to overcome your shyness. He is trying to do things that will probably irritate you so you can say something.
