Valentine's day gift ideas for my wife?

It’s six weeks away now, but if I don’t start dreaming up some valentine’s day gift ideas for my wife, I know I’m going to suffer for it. What I know she might like: an expensive ring with a large stone, dinner at a nice, high class french restaurant (booked already) and perhaps dancing at a salsa club.

However, I’m hoping to pull off a (small) surprise, at the very least this year…she loves it when I do that, probably b/c it’s so rare! Can anybody help me out with some unique valentine’s day gift ideas for my wife please?

Answer #1

It’s the small things that count. hiding little notes in different places, Cleaning the car, having a bubble bath all ready for her, a candle lit dinner or just going for a walk! There’s SO much. you sound like you’re already on the right track though.

Answer #2

Do the chores. It’s original, unmanly, and will definitely score you points with your wife for valetine’s day.

Answer #3

Bubble bath sounds great, Or make a card for her, made by YOU, so the meanin is all in it. YOu could bring her to somewhere she loves.

Answer #4

That bit about chores is a good one…however, if you’re lazy like me try what I’m doing: book dinner at a nice restaurant, arrange flowers at the table & a note card…other than that, be extra nice. (though if you have time the suggestions from skeedo are very good).

Answer #5

Why not book her a day at the spa for some pampering and preparation for a fun filled night or start the day off with a breakfast in bed OR to REALLY surprise her do some of her chores the night before or early in the morning on valentines day. Are YOU up to it? :) Not all surprises have to be gifts it’s always the thought that counts :)

Answer #6

Here are some ideas for what you could do for your wife on Valentine’s Day:

  • bring her breakfast in bed
  • do some of her morning chores the night before or before she gets up
  • book her a day at a spa
  • give her a massage at home
  • get her favorite candy
  • take her to her favorite restaurant
  • make her a card
Answer #7

Instead of buying a valentines day card, go to a craft store and pick out some supplies to “make” one for her yourself. This is something I’ve done several times over the years for my wife on all the holidays including her birthday and she really loves it.
