Why is my vagina lumpy inside?

Not sure where to get the answer to this. But the inside of my vagina is all lumpy. I don’t know if this is normal or not as its only recently I have started to touch myself there. I was abused as a child and avoided anything remotely sexual for years. I have never had penetrative sex (my abuse didn’t get that far) and don’t have a partner at the moment. Where can I find out if the lumps in my vagina are normal or not. The thought of going to a doctor is too scary as I am scared they would want to examine me.

I am glad to hear that you got the strength to go see a doctor… and i am sorry that you had a bad experience with them… I hope your GP can better serve you.

First thing first you have to see an Ob gynecolgist. She will know if it is normal or not. Do it as soon as you could. It would not be better scary to know any early stage of the unknown than the late stage of any unknown. Everything is scary and what you dealt when you are abuse was one. I know you can make it and I agrre with Jason. Let us know the progress. These are your brothers praying for you.

Answer #5

thank you xoxlisaxox - i hope it is normal

And thank you Jason and yoltdude for your advise - especially liked the - “these are your brothers praying for you” - really touching.

I went to a family planning clinic today as my GP was not available and was treated in a very unhelpful way and made a complaint against the women. She just didn’t listen and jumped to assumptions. My GP is due to call me in the morning so hopefully will sort it out then.

Answer #6

wow I actually have the same thing. I didn’t know other people had it too!

Answer #7

Answer #8

I have the same thing too.. I;mnot sure what it is. But if we both have it it is probobly just normal.

Answer #9

I have the same problem they never used to be there but I started to use tampons and they appeared. my mum made me go to the doctor and the doctor wanted to examine me but I said no and she told me it was best if she did but I insisted on no and she was ok. she said its never normally cancer unless your about 60 or above and its most likely a blocked gland as a tampon can do that or a boil as that can happen by using tampons or just come up, it should go down eventually is what she told me but she said I must get examined if it hurts or gets bigger so try to calm down and go to the doctor to tell her she will make a note of it but wont make you have an examination unless you want to. hope this has been a help good luck xxx

Hi, I understand how you feel hun, I hate going to the doctor, but you MUST goto the doctor to get yourself checked out. You do not have to worry because the doctor WILL be female and if it is not you can request a female doctor. Doctors deal with problems like this on a daily bases you do not have to worry about being embarrassed, doctors are very professional and nice. You just need to do this for your health… and once its over you will be glad you know what is wrong, then you won’t have to worry. its just your g spot all girls have it its inside you like a half inch deep

good luck…

oh my goodness I’m so glad this is here! I was nervous but I’ve always been too embarrassed to ask someone or tell a doctor! I didn’t notice when it wasn’t smooth to be honest. one day I just looked and saw. I got so scared it was an std or something but I’ve never had sex! I was SO nervous. I might still go to a doctor but this makes me more calm now. thanks everyone!!

Answer #14

thank the lord someone asked this question! yeah, I started using tampons, then BAM, the bumps appeared. but they didnt appear til I was… 17? I was all smooth when I was like, 15/16? I was so scared, but I HATE going to the doctor. yes, they dont hurt at all. oh, and ail123, its totally normal to explore. everyone does it. its healthy. :P

Answer #15

OK you ladies, here goes… Its normal, no reason to go to the OBG unless it hurts or there is a discharge. The inside of your vagina is supposed to be bumpy. Your G-spot is on the belly button side of your vagina just off to one side on some. this is good, rub this when masterbating and you should cum hard! Its OK. The ridges inside your vagina also act as a stimulant to a mans penis, it massages it and makes us cum. It also holds the sperm so it can make its way up you vagina to the uterus. So don’t worry, your OK. Jeff TBP

Answer #16

OMG! I have that too… I’m 15 and recentsly started “exploring” and I was like what the heck!! but I think it’s normal bcause it doesnt hurt at all.

Answer #17

I WAS WORRIED ABOUT THE SAME THING, I JUST NOTICED THAT I HAVE LUMPS IN MY VAGINA…AND BEFORE I USE TO BE ALL SMOOTH… BUT YOU ANSWER HELPED (BLONDY) I RENCENTLY GAVE BIRTH IN MARCH 19 (2009)… :)

Answer #18

it is natural for the vaginal walls to be ridged..bumpy, unsmooth because it is like the walls are a bit folded up like a spring coils so that they can stretch and extend when you are aroused to increase the length of the vaginal canal and maybe when you give birth. If you discover new lumps or painful lumps thats when you need to be concerned and see your doctor

Answer #19

I do believe that all girls are like that after they have sex for the first time or if they just use tampons. when your body hits teenage years they do change the older you get.
