Did I break my hymen from using tampons?

I started my periods about 4 years ago. I am 15 and have just started wearing tampons. this is my first period using them and there seems to be a lot more blood than there every has been before it goes everywhere have I broken my hymen please help I am worried thanks

Yes it is possible..however like sue90 said it’s definitely possible that you may think there is more blood because you are used to pads.. It’s nothing to worry about..some girls are born without a hymen..some girls’ hymens are torn from a sporting activity etc. There isn’t usually a worrying amount of blood.

it is possible, but how do you know that there is more blood than ever if its your first period?

Dear rosieposy1, Yes, it is possible and you may think that there is more blood but it might be because you are not using a pad that will absorb in a different way. Sue…good luck
