Answer #1

Can you not pop open the case and push it back out?

Answer #2

If you know how to do it, take off the shell of the computer (not monitor), if you can without messing up your system, gently place the USB port back in it’s spot.

Before you re-attach the shell to the computer, make sure the port is secure and TRY to test plugging something into it and see if it comes out again.

It’s best to have a professional do it for you.

Answer #3

If you can’t pop it back out and you have other USB ports you can go to Radio Shack or another electronics supply store and but a USB hub. It turns one USB port into four or five ports. I have one. They are pretty useful.

Answer #4

My first question: Is this a laptop or a desktop computer? Second question: PC or Mac? Third question: is it one that’s been added on to the computer, is most likely on a pci card, or is it one that seems to be attached to the motherboard as either on-board or from an attachment going to either the front, back, or a side of the computer?
