There are not many choices in this. To get better access, you can signup on youtube. Hopefully the Google acquisition will help them improve the search and filtering on the site.

there’s a way to filter out videos on youtube.com.

when you get to the homepage, you can click on the tab “videos” which takes you to the page that lists all the videos they have on the site. on the left hand side, there’s a few category options to help you sort out the videos. if you’re looking for top rated videos they have a “top rated” and “most viewed” option.

you can also choose a specific category of video (comedy, entertainment, etc…)
