How do I turn off NetGear Firewall on my MAC?

Step 1) Click on the start menu Step 2) Click Run Step 3) Type in CMD then clik OK Step 4) In the black box you will type in ipconfig without any spaces. Step 5) Hit the enter Key Step 6) Write down the default Gateway ex: (192.168.0.x) (the default gateway is the address of your router) Step 7) open up your internet Explore and type in your default gateway in the address bar. Make sure you put the dots as it appeared in the little black box (the Dos screen) then hit GO or Enter. Step I’m not sure what the login is for your Netgear but try using admin for the user name and no password. If that doesn’t work type in admin for the username and type in password for the passcode…if that still does not get you into the interface you may check out the link below.
