They just don't trust me or want to give me a chance

I used to spend the night at my friends’ houses and all I had to do was tell them I was leaving but ever since I came home late a couple times recently they just don’t trust me or want to give me a chance… I haven’t seen one of my best friends in almost two months and she got back this week so this weekend I really want to spend time with her, but my parents don’t like her because they think she’s “boy crazy” but I have no idea what to do… How do I get them to trust me???

I think that deep down, they are trying to look out for you. You can have a talk with them and tell them it hurts you that they have lost their confidence in you. Maybe you can give them examples and reasons why they should trust you. Build a case like a lawyer. You have to be mature, calm and persistent. Give them assurances that you will maintain contact with them while you are out and that you will follow the rules. If it doesn’t work, you can get an older family member to seak to them on your behalf. Don’t worry, your parents love you and everything will be ok, you’ll see.
