Is it true that all left-handed people used to have a twin that died quickly and unknowingly in their mother's womb?

i read a book…a awesome book…called All American Girl yup…by meg cabot =) …and anyway i read this part in the awesomedydiawesome book that all left handers used to have a twin when they were in their mothers womb. but the mother didn’t cry for days knowing that the baby died in her belly knowing shes not going to get 2 babies only one because the baby died shortly after pregnancy and…well, nobody noticed. and that 1 out of 10 people are left handed and 1 out of 10 people are pregnant with twins. so do that math and is it true??? u think???

As interesting as it would be if it WERE true, it is untrue. Left-handedness is the preference for the left hand over the right for everyday activities such as writing.

I don’t think its true. While the statistics are the same, it doesn’t mean that this applies to every person. To put it shortly, these are two different statistics and don’t have any relevancy to each other. But there is something true about left handed people, and its that they use a primitive side of their brain, the right side. Whereas most people that are right handed depend on their left.

Exactly, I don’t really believe that people are born destined to become right or left handed either. I was left handed as a child, my parents noticed while I was still young and ‘switched’ me over to my right hand. Now I couldn’t write with my left to save my life. I think it all just boils down to what you are use to. If you practice enough with your left hand and you will get just as good at writing as your right. :)

your not born with a prefered limb, left handed or right depends on what hand a pencil feels more comfy and what u can write better u hav to choose wen u start school so its not a destined thing
