How to treat a sports injury?

can anyone give me a link to a website that can help me? my teacher have me a list of questions to answer regarding how to diagnose an injury, if it’s an acute, sub-acute or chronic injury. there’s a whole lot of things he is asking us to know, and i don’t have any sort of training into this sort of stuffs. there’s also a bunch of questions like how to know if a bruise is dangerous and what shape and size it’ll be if it’s an acute, sub-acute etc..etc.. >.< Can somebody please help me? nobody teaches me useful stuffs like these in school. and i even asked my room mate majoring on medical health and she doesn’t even know!

ohhh wow the terms “acute, sub-acute or chronic injury” bring me back to my grade 12 exercise science class :P I can’t say I remember much… it’s been a several years and I didn’t decide to go into kinesiology. ummmm… there was this real useful site back then that I used which helped, but I can’t seem to acess it nor find it through google anymore :( Best bet would be to go on SPARKNOTES and build some foundation on there :)

sparknotes? isn’t that just for literature stuffs? and i’m glad your school thought you something useful. all i learned about health in my p.e. class was how to know if you were overweight or not. and maybe play ball

Answer #3

nope!! check out the search bar on sparknotes ;) TRUST ME!! they give out way more notes than you can imagine, not only fore literature!! I passed first and second year university psycology with spark notes, as well as philosophy :D

I know that, if you have a pulled achilese tendon, get a pot full of hot water and a pot full of cold water and alternate. After 3 rounds in for 30 seconds a piece and out for 10 seconds in between, then you pace lightly, you will cure the hazard.
