Trash or yard, where to bury our dog?

My dog is going 2 be put the sleep..I love that dog so much and my mom want the dog body in the trash but I want 2 put it in the ground under my yard..what one would you do

Answer #1

Sorry about your dog man. I would give my do the proper burial

Answer #2

maybe, to satisfy both of you, you could have your dog cremated and where the ashes in a necklace around your neck. that way your mom wont have to be creeped out by a dead dog in the yard, but the dog just wont be trashed.

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. I hope you are okay. I would have to say neither. We creamated our dog when he died about a year ago. I think it would be a little creepy to have a dog buried in your backyard. I would get spooked every night. Unless you bury it in someones lawn that you dont like… :)

In the trash seems kindof rude, don’t you think? Id bury it in your yard, or back in your woods or something. & I’m really sorry about your dog! I hope youre okay!

Answer #5

I would bury it in my yard, well I actually cremate my animals that die, but if I had to choose between the garbage or the ground I would choose the ground, it’s more respectful to your pet, it makes it seem that it’s not another piece of garbage but it actually meant something to you.

I believe that the body is simply a container to carry all that love, devotion, and personality around…once all that has passed on, there is but an empty shell…Funerals, burials etc are for the living…I don’t know how big this pupper is, but a very large dog can be hard to bury…a hole 8 feet deep isn’t easy to do with a shovel.

Talk to her, and tell her how much this means to you…you can also leave the body at the Vets, and they cremete the remains…it costs a little extra, but would that make you feel better??

I’m so very sorry for your loss…I”ve been there, and know how hard it is.

Answer #7

Dig the deepest hole you can and lay your dog to rest there…whether in your yard or somewhere else. If you can’t, and your dogs body leaves in the trash, don’t feel bad…it’s ok…you will meet your friend again, and all will be forgotten. Just give your dog lots of love & attention while it’s still around…and talk to your dog about how you feel about what may or may not happen when he passes away. Your dogs spirit will always be with you.

Answer #8

When our dog died, we buried him in the yard… sorry about your dog…it can be hard to get over…

Answer #9

yeah I would bury it, but make sure its really deep so the weather or animals don’t dig your dog up…
