Toss a toy in the yard, then with her on a leash…walk past the toy…when she trys to go for it, give the leash a tug, and say “LEAVE”…or “LEAVE-IT”…walk past again, repeat. THEN release her with “OKAY”…and reward her by letting her have it…repeat a few times per day.

Giving paw is easy…hold treat in one hand, and say “PAW” or “SHAKE”…pick up her paw, and hand her the treat…repeat and repeat…with a Westie, I’d say 5 times and she’ll have trick down.

If she pulls really bad, and simply is not paying attention to what YOU are doing, then 180 degree turns in the walk will up her attention level. As you’re walking down the sidewalk, turn and go the exact opposite direction…she’ll suddenly be at the end of the leash, and mom is going the other way.

Prong collars work great for teaching a dog to walk nicely…but they must be used properly, placed correctly on the neck, and should not be used on a dog under 6 months of age. With these collars (which are far easier on a dog than choke collar)…the dog learns it’s own limitations, without the owner having to do anything but “be there”.

how to walk nice on a lead with out pulling? - You have to get a treat, make her focus and it, and pull her, when she walks a few feet without pulling or biting on the lead, then give her the treat and praise her for it.

how to leave toys or things she souldnt have in her mouth? - I’m not really sure about this one, sorry.

how to give paw? - Make her sit. Hold her paw and shake it for a little bit. It should be between 30 seconds or a minute. Then put her paw down, praise her, and give her a treat.
