how do you train a scared 1 year old mini bulldog to walk on a leash?

im in the middle of training my puppy to walk on a lead. at first I just put it on.. gave her a treat then just left the lead on so she can walk around the house and play with it on. I di this for a couple of days then started to pick the lead up and walk with her. I will pick the lead up and call her as im walking and she would just come to me.. then I would move it in to the garden and do the same there. whats helped the most is I have a 2yr old dog aswel and my puppy just follows what he does. took me a 3 days to get her to walk on a lead! try walking with another dog that is a little bit older, they soon pick it up x
a ouos instinct when young is to walk by the person it has bonde with, if for no other reason than being scared. take a dull colored harness and leash , then slowly with leash hanging so its nit oulling walk slowly and the pup will evevtuaklly follow. it may take a few times but it works. I know because not only do I train english bulldogs but I also train other dogs with issues and parrots ect.
