Does the touch pad on your laptop, mess up your typing?

When I am typing on this computer, I will see that I am ty ping in the middle of my sentence, this is cause because my thumb is over the top of my touch pad and moves my curser.

That doesn’t’ happen to me…but, I use a macbook pro (not sure if that would happen to me on a windows computer or not).

I do have a lot of trouble typing on my iphone 4 though…frequently, I hit the space key and it doesn’t register, so the letters merge together, OR i miskey something.

You may be able to turn the touchpad “off” on your portable…some people do that, depending on what kind of touchpad computer you have….

Well I can turn it off, and do when I am going to be typing a lot, but this can get annoying.

I can switch off the touch pad using FN + F9. So Whenever I type, I just switch it off, and when I’m done typing I switch it back on. I’m so used to grabbing those 2 keys, I do it without thinking about it.

Well there is one button I can press above it to turn it off, but it is just a annoyance.

Yep, Its constantly screwing around, I use a mouse instead now..

Yes it does, but I have grown somewhat accustomed to it because it’s what I use for work too. My personal choice would be the mouse tho
