Answer #3

I most times write from what I am feeling- it is a great outlet for anxiety and depression. however- I have learned to incorporate activities I enjoy doing in my poetry- I ahve poems about fishing- about hunting- hiking- my spiritual beliefs, poems about painting- poems about writing poems.

I try to avoid dwelling in the darkness for very long- and allow some “light” to enter into my writing- I keep things balanced because writing the darkness all of the time can end up pulling me farther into the darkness and depression.
