too competitive?

I dated a guy for a short time about 6 months ago. Since then, we have become good friends. I like him and I think he likes me back, but we are both relationship shy and too whatever about it to get back together. My friend recently camed to me and told me she liked him and wanted to know if it was ok to persue him. I said yes, but now I feel like I like him and want him back. This girl doesnt really have a shot with him realistically. She is not his type at all. I don’t know if this decision that I want him back now is just because I have competition or I’ve been ignoring my feelings. what should I do?

spartan said it. but its like now you want what you can cant have. if you want him back, be kind to your friend about it, for the very least since you made it seem like you were fine with it;

Well if you want him, you might as well tell your friend you didn’t know what you were saying that day and you want him back then. Honesty is the best answer. :P
