Hardness around my tongue ring

I have my tongue pierced, for about 3 or 4 months now.. and around my piercing it was hard and I just thought it wasn’t healed all the way yet. well the hardness went away around the pierced expect for a tiny spot in the front and I was afraid it was infected.. well I looked at it this morning and it was a little bigger and I squeezed it gently and pus came out of it.. so does the mean it’s infected?

Answer #1

Rinsing your mouth with peroxide like you do mouthwash is safe. Yes, it may burn a little. You could try using Listerine also. If it was me I would either go where I got it done at and ask what they think or go to the doctor. An infection that close to your brain should not be played around with.

Answer #2

yes peroxide does burn! you shouldnt put it anywere near tyour tounge!! if your trying to clean it do a sea salt soak I tablespoon of sea salt in one cup warm water put your toung in there for about 15 mins it is infected a bit, and also probably haste fully healed it sounds like it will but if it hurts at all then you should go back to your peircer imediantly!

Answer #3
