Is too much respect a bad thing?

my prob is I spent all night with this girl we talked and we had so much in common and stuff but when it came around to actually kissing her I got all nervous and frose up and just hugged her instead I just dont wana do anything to make em mad because I respect girls so much I wont go through with anything. does this make me a wimp when it comes to girls because atm im really embarresed because my mates think I am! can anyone tell me?

No it isn’t!!.Here’s a tip: talk with her all night etc, and when you drop her off or when you r having a “kinda deep” conv. just look at her straight in the eye and tell her “can I kiss you”, that will make the girl MELT if she actually like you, and if she smiles and stares at you it’s because she wants you to, so just VEEERY gently go ahead and kiss her

It’s important that you take a relationship at a speed you’re comfortable with. It’s great that you care about this girl to not want to come on too strong. Don’t force anything you’re not comfortable with, just let it happen naturally when you’re good and ready.

As for the guys calling you a “wimp”- ignore them. Be your own person, not what they want you to be.

no, no you’re not a wimp, just shy. it’s good that you have a big respect for girls, but sometimes people can take that the wrong way. like I’m sure that girl thought the reason you didn’t kiss her back is because you were turned off or something. next time if you want to kiss her, and you know that she wants to kiss you, don’t be afraid to go for it.
