To forgive or not to forgive?

My brother broke an expensive nail polish of mine while fooling around with it, even when I told him not too. Now I dont know whether I should let it go or haresh him for one(or two) more of the same nailpolish. P.s-he never even said sorry he just ran to his room and locked the door while my dad made me clean the mess from the nail polish

Answer #1

It is always better (for you) to forgive - we all make mistakes !!

Answer #2

What else are you going to do? Hate him forever over nail polish? Yeah he should have helped you clean the mess - but we all make mistakes and sometimes react the wrong way after making them. Talking to him about the situation would be much more effective then freaking out at him over it. If you be rude about to, chances are you’ll get a rude response. You get what you give, so just be calm.

Answer #3

Forgive him it was probably an accident. And by him running to the room and locking the door he feels really bad and you upset him by lashing out. You can replace nailpolish not your BRO!

Answer #4

life is short…forgive him and forget about it…you cant seriously be really mad at someone over a bottle of nail polish!! Ask him to get a new one to replace the one he broke..and tell him you would like an apology maybe but other than that…let it go..its just a little bottle of nail polish.

Answer #5

forgive sh*t happens you have probably done it too him without noticing

Answer #6

Forgive him, it’s the best thing to do. Don’t be mad over broken nail polish. I’d ask for an apology and just forgive him :)

Answer #7

Whenever I’m angry with someone, I picture myself at their funeral and then analyze whether or not it is worth being angry over.

Answer #8

deff forgive him. He prob didnt mean to break it.

Answer #9

Make him say sorry and pay you back. That’s what I think would be atonement. =p

Answer #10

I would forgive him, but I would also ask for an apology. =)
