How come every time I eat something my stomach hurts immediately after?

Answer #1

That can only mean two things. One; If you lay down and eat, then your food is having a hard time digesting. or Two; You body is breaking down difficult portions that is hard to past through your intestines. Eat smaller portions, and move around after eating. Oh yea; Then you might have a high metabolism, which means your body produces more than you eat so, your stomach is doing more work that it’s supposed to.

Answer #2

Try walkin around after u eat, that cud help

Answer #3

i wouldn’t be so bold as to say there are only two reasons?

there are various stages to your digestion process… where you have the pain can indicate roughly what stage it’s at (unless its displaced pain, where you may get a pain in your neck but the problem is your shoulder)

is it after every single meal? and how fast are you eating? if you eat too quickly, you may eat too much and don’t give the food enough time to get to your stomach so it tells your brain its full? what sort of foods are you eating and do you eat normally? what sort of pain is it? dull? sharp? gnawing pain?

is it possible for you to elaborate a little bit? because if you are not eating too much and have a balanced diet etc, personally i would suggest you see your GP, any pain in the body that happens all the time should be at least checked out.

also, try eating a banana… they are high in proteins and lots of other yummy good things for your body, plus they are one of the easiest things for the body to digest (hence babies being given mashed banana as weaning food often) plus, they actually are one of the few food products to aid digestion.

Answer #4

It’s pretty much after every meal. I don’t eat very fast. I normally eat fruits, and normal meals. It’s kind of like a gnawing pain but at times it will dull but not for too long.I eat a lot of bananas already.

Answer #5

you should go and speak to a doctor hun…. if it’s a gnawing pain accompanied with a feeling of sickness or hunger it could be something like an ulcer?

go see a doc, pls let me know what they say… but you sound like you’re not doing anything wrong… humour me and just check it out x
