What are your thoughts on what happened to Yueyue-the two year old who died after a hit-and-run in China?

It’s apparently sparked debates in China and on news channels world wide and people are now saying China as reached a moral low. Do you think the people who walked past the girl should be arrested as well as those who ran her over? Me and my Parent’s were discussing this and i wanted to hear other people’s opinions. Ugh. It entirely disgusts me. This is just like the incident where a homeless man helps a woman who gets her purse stolen, in turns get stabbed, while many passerbys just walk by look at him and keep on walking. Some man even took a picture of the injured man, who dies soon after. This is just like it. It honestly disgusts me. We all hear about the low morale of the Chinese, how they put toxic things in food because it is cheap, the harvesting of organs, etc, but how can people be so heartless to leave a child there like that? Psychologists have a ‘syndrome’ for such things, the “bystander syndrome’ where the number of bystanders, decrease the likelihood of someone helping. So if there is a group of people watching, then the less likely someone will help as opposed to if you were the only one witnessing it. Bullsh!t if you ask me. I know for a fact if someone you loved were laying there injured, in need of help, regardless of how many people are there, you would rush to help. This just shows the immorality of people, how little people seem to care. It’s horrible the people that hit her didn’t stop and just left, it’s horrible that people just walked right past her. I wouldn’t like to say it is just China reaching a moral low, but honestly? My parents, and I, we’re Chinese, and we all hate China, for its lack of moral.

Oh dear God please help us. I just balled for 10 mins. this is horrible. I think they all shoudl be arrested. I dont care what the case is. I think the mother should be too for not watchin her 2 year old. This world is horrible. God have mercy on us all. Poor baby. I hope he/she is ok

That is just sick. I cannot stop crying. I dont know how this world got to be so f!cked up. How can people be that way? I cannot begin to understand. If i saw that i would have helped that baby right away. There is nothin i can do. but pray

I know,i was going to post another website up but they actually showed photos of her in the hospital and i thought it was to distressing to see specially as i saw it on the TV first. i was in shock that this happened and people were just walking by and another ‘larger’ lorry ran her over too :(

She died,it was on the news…she was in a coma for several days (7 days i think) and people across the world are raising money for her parents to help pay off the hospital bill
