What are your thoughts on the statue being removed at Penn State?

Answer #1

Well, since he covered up what Sandusky did, I think it should be removed

Answer #2

A necessary step in order for the University to be able to move forward and put this sad chapter in the past…

Answer #3

I am glad it has been removed. No amount of nostalgia or past football achievements can erase the horror that took place there. Too many people in authority at Penn St were aware that this was happening but instead of reporting it to the authorities they covered it up to preserve the football, the coaches and the school ‘s integrity. Since the mid 1990s they turned a blind eye to what was happening, so the statue was only the beginning.
