Hmmm… That person could walk northwest through Canada and Alaska and cross the bering strait in wintertime. But only if the winter is very cold and the water is all frozen. Maybe he could also walk over the polar sea in wintertime, crossing the North pole. But he’d have to hurry because the Northeast passage and the Northwest passage are open in summertime due to climate warming. And he’d be trapped on eternal ice if the walk across the pole takes too long.

And then they could walk further westwards through Siberia, all of Russia, All of eastern Europe and finally steer south towards Greece.

I guess that an airplane or a boat crossing the Atlantic eastwards might just be easier.
