Thigh cutting

I know someone who cuts there thighs as a relief of depression, I’m not sure what she uses to cut her self, but there is a lot of wounds on her leg, and she reckons she can ‘pull them apart’ Could this harm her health physically, because watever she is digging into her skin could be rusty or anything.. What can I do to make her stop?

U need to report this to someone, a counselor at school, the girl”s mother if you know her. If you girls aren’t “tightl” I would go to your counselor. This is serious and needs to be addressed. Yes, those wounds could become badly infected. Pls speak to a counselor. If you hang out a lot you can try talking to her first, feel out her attitude and if she’s trying to blow it off, becomes angry and defensive—then def need to speak to your counselor.

her mum’s probly not the best person to tell.. she’s a police woman, and bans her from every freedom.. her boy friend knows… so we’ll just have to help her get over this stage hopefully
