Hang in there while we get back on track
They dont want to give me my drivers licence..
How can I get my parents to get my license out..im already over my six months of permit I was suppose to get it like april 2nd..but they dont want to get it out for me bc they dont want me to go to places that im not suppose to while their gone..or to end up like my older bro who has wrecked already three cars and has nuthin but tickets on his record…so what can I do to prove them wrong when I have tried almost everything and im not like my older bro! Hes carless but doesnt mean that I am too. Rite?
Wow im sorry but your parents are really protective, im 15 have a cell phone and they let me drive. I know that didnt help at all so no hate mail please haha.
lol..thanks..yea..I dont get out much if its not with my older bro (who does have a phone so they can call) or t with them..
lol…I dont even have a cell phone bc they dont want to get me one just in case I start ‘talkin to people im not suppose to’ …lol..see chichee5 I told you they were overprotective! lol..
well maybe you can try to tell them if you have a cell phone they can call and make sure your okay or do the fun way and go with your bffs and tell them that your brother is diffrent from you
umm no offense to you ‘nerd’ but I have showen them..okay? and they keep on bothering me about a lot of things and so yea htey dont pressure me to have a job so I say that bc I know that they would like for me to have one to help out and dont get me wrong I would love to help out I already promised my ma that I would help her buy a new freakin van once I got aj ob and I mean it! but see if I get a job now without being able to get myself there…theres gona be problems like how I have with school at gettin there late..because I gots a big family..so were not talkin of how mature I am or what I have done wrong alrite? but THANKS anyway..
“..I told her like im almost freakin 17 and well I aint gettin no ‘effin job and help them pay for da bills till I get my license”
The way you are talking doesn’t show that you are mature enough to handle a license. I agree with your parents. When you are on the road, you are responsible for the lives of millions of people. If my kid ever told me “I ain’t gettin no effin job to pay da bills” She would finish a long series of grammar tutoring sessions before I let her within three feet of a gas pedal. Your parents are not worried about the five dollars an hour that you could contribute to the light bill. Getting a job as a teenager is all about building character, being responsible, and having the extra cash in your pocket to pay for your own gas, and possibly insurance. Seems like you need an attitude adjustment. Driving is a privilege, not a right.
I’m not sure what you mean by ‘license out’, but if they were over protective, you’d have a cell phone. They would want to call you all the time to ask what you are doing. Something else is going on with them. Apparently you are already going places that they don’t want you to go so maybe you could prove to them by not doing that and showing that you ARE responsible (if you are) and that you CAN do as they say.
My sister had the same problem. She got a job. After having my parents drive her to and from work every day for a couple months, she sat them down and in a very mature and unemotional way, explained that she was not like her older siblings and didn’t deserve to be punished for their mistakes. She also brought up the point that they wouldn’t have to drive her to work anymore. My parents were sold.
just be like im old enough to get one so why cant I get one lol
lol! ehh im used to it! so I aint worried or offended by it! it kinda gives me laugh instead..
yea my parents well…mom mostly..is overprotective..like weird..and neither is a good reason for them..I told her like im almost freakin 17 and well I aint gettin no ‘effin job and help them pay for da bills till I get my license..and that DOES make them think it twice..but I want to try to hit it at another angle see what happens..
