hey.. I had sex with my long term boyfriend and the condom completely broke and approximately 10 hours later I took the morning after pill and 12 hours later again. I've been getting stomach cramps ever since and have been feeling tired and have been getting mood swings. the last time I had my periods was approx 1 week ago and 3 days after taking the pill I got them again, is this all normal and ok?
Yes that's all normal and ok with the morning after pill. They should have given you information with the morning after pill that explains the symptoms. Cramping and irregular bleeding is normal. Your body just had a higher level of hormones than it's used to.
