How long after sex can you take the morning after pill?

So me and my boyfriend had sexual intercourse last night but unprotected which was stupid but whats done is done I guess lol. I just need to know how long after you can take the morning after pill?

you shouldn’t take the pill at all, if you’re responsible enough to lay on you’re back and have sex,,,then you had better learn to grow up and be responsible enough to take care of a kid, because I tell you what. I have been trying for a kid for almost a year..I would do anything to have a kid, and you’re trying to take a pill to stop pregnancy…you should be ashamed of you’re self.

Good luck! For future reference be aware that the morning after pill is not 100% effective. I took it and the pregnancy was not prevented. You should be using a regular birth control along with condoms.

take it within 72 hours of having sex. Before the third day. after that it will be too late

I’m stuck though because my clinic isn’t open on wednesdays and I can’t go today so that would be leaving it over 48 hours :S

up 2 3days after but if you take it on the 3rd day its very unlikly it will work.
