Large eyes staring back at me Glazed with love and lies. And confusion on my part. Yours, too? Never would’ve guessed. Plump lips part, Letting foul words leave. But who are they aimed towards? “I can’t believe I did this.” Did what? Nothing you ever did made a difference In the world. Nothing you ever did affected Anyone around you Because, if you really look, There’s no one there. You just created beings So you wouldn’t be so lonely. Large eyes staring back at me, Begging for forgiveness, and Unconditional love. But the truth is, You desrve neither. I turn and walk away. But before you’re out of sight, I let my lips part, Releasing hurtful words, Aimed at you: “I can.”
I love it. except for the line “and confusion on my part, yours too?” it seems a little out of place, as if it doesn’t flow.
