Can teachers not give you the right grade just because some other person is his or her favorite?

They do it in college all the time! Grades are by no means a reflection of the persons academical achievements! Its just a popularity contest.
Interesting. Because I never really knew most of my teachers and I still got a 4.0. Weird huh?
