Tap water or bottled water?

Hello, everyone! Recently, I’ve been experimenting with this new program (it’s nothing weird, just eating certain natural foods). I’ve decided to cut back on the sugar-y sodas and juices and simply go with water. The thing is, it HAS to purified/filtered water.

I do not have a water filter (yet) since money is so tight. So I ask you all: Which would be better for the time being-tap water or bottled water?

I do not know how contaminated the tap water is in my state (TN), but I’ve found it to be ok. I’m really iffy about drinking bottled water because the plastic can be very harmful, and I can taste the difference (which doesn’t taste like pure water). More importantly, the program won’t do me any good if the chemicals in the plastic enter my body (since I must stay away from pesticides,plastics,etc.).

So, to all you nutrition experts, what’d be better until I get my filter: Tap or bottled? Thanks in advance! :)

It depends where you live, I prefer tap water, or if you can get one of those water purifiers installed, that would be a lot better and the water from that really tastes nice and is the best thing you can get for your body.

I don’t like bottled water, over here our water was tested and it was found that the tap water overall have less disease linked to it then bottled water. I also don’t like the taste of bottled water.

The bottom line is as long as you get enough water in, it doesn’t really matter what you drink.

I like tap just fine! I drink a few cups a day all my life and am a-okay.

public water supply is often tested, you can call up your local water treatment plant if you have questions.
