Where are you going to be staying and what are you going to be doing? To cover the basics… oh and be careful of the water… only drink bottled (and if that’s not an option, make sure it is boiled!)

Clothes - it’s generally hot there so dress appropriately, it doesnt get too cold, but take a sweater, sometimes the nights are chilly Long pants (do not wear anything short after dark or you will be eaten alive by mosquitos) Towel Soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush Shoes (again, depending on what you’re going to be doing, but if you’re going to be walking about in the bush, take good shoes) Entertainment (books, magazines) Cash (if there’s any places that take credit cards I’d be surprised) Bug spray Hat Sunglasses Umbrella Sunscreen Camera Alarm clock Malaria tablets Little to no jewellry Dont try and get too fancy with anything or you risk it being stolen at the airport… keep all valuables with you at all times…

Dont bother with any electronics unless you want to buy a converter…
