Tampons..need advice fast.

Okay so I read the directions on them about a million times now..and I was wondering, is the WHOLE fatter part (where the actual tampon is) supposed to go all the way in there. b/c if it is then I guess theres something wrong with me b/c I can’t get the whole thing up there. I need advice fast so I can insert my first tampon before I go to softball practice. I tried inserting it once but I didn’t put ANY of the fat part in there and it hurt like a bitch, espeacially when I took it out. so if you can please help me it would be very appreciated. thanks.

Well omg im thirteen and I got my period January 5 so I know how you feel and you know how you said does it go in the BIG WHOLE and yes it does and if it hurts or you cant get it in use a smaller type of tampon or use pads they usually work.

 GOOD LUCK!!!

Try using plastic applicators. Slender tampons work best when you are just starting out. You shouldn’t feel anything if they are inserted properly.

Answer #3

the whole fat part must go in try sitting on toilet with legs spread and putting hand up there if tampon is too big then it will hurt try a size regular tampon

Answer #4

i never put the whole fat part in.. cus it kinda hurts me too. but ive been using them for a long time. it goes most of the way in like 3/4 of the way. u should get it at least that far. it probably hurt cus ur not relaxed.. try different positions. i do it sitting, my one friend does it standing with her foot on the toilet. it hurts wen u pull them out dry.. so dont insert it until ur sure.

Answer #5

yeah the whole fat part is suppossed to go all the way up there. Make sure you’re not tensing up because you definately won’t be able to insert it properly. Take a deep breath and as you release insert it in your vagina, then take another deep breath and as you release push up on the part of the applicator that pushes the tampon higher in your vaginal canal.
