tampon or pad?

I have never used tampon.is it comfortable to use?how long 1 tampon can be used during your heavy days.which one is preferable-pad or tampon?

Answer #1

I think tampons are more comfortable. Pads kinda make me feel like I’m wearing a diaper.

As long as you put it in right, it’ll be fine. It takes a while to get used to them though. So you might not be completely comfortable for a couple of days. Plus, they work MUCH better with lighter colored pants. I don’t know how long I leave one in. I can usually just tell when it needs to be changed. And if your period is really heavy (like mine usually is) you need to change it more often.

Answer #2

I perefer tampons. Once you get used to using them, they are comfortable. Pads oftenmake me fell like im weighed down. Tampons, when inserted correctly, are unnoticable. as for how often you should change them it depends on how much you bleed. But its all up to you & your body…

sakmeht, I was just looking at a website about those cup things. Miacups or whatever. (I clicked the Google ad on the side. :P)

Are those comfortable? And do they really work well?

Answer #4

tampons might be uncomfortable the first time you wear them… but if you put them in right they are SO much better than pads… but dont wear them at night… wear a pad… its not good to wear tampons at night… on my really heavy days like when I first start my cycle I keep a tampon in for maybe 2/3 hours before I change it.

Answer #5

I use them all the time, I think they are very comfortable to use if you have them in the right way. I usually leave them in for 4 or 5 hours, but mine arent that heavy. I wear pantyliners with my tampon in case I am late on changing them.

Answer #6

I like tompons MUCH better, You cant feel them at all,(maybe at first) And pads just feel like diapers.

Answer #7

I like to use tampons for the day andd pads for the night, but tampons are confortable so I prefer those. They are cleaner.
