Is a Tampon safe to wear to splish splash?

I am going to Splish Splash in a week and I am due to get my period. I was told to use a tampon and to change it regulary through out the day. But I am worried that somehow when I am on a ride that the tampon will get stuck inside of me. Is this possible? And can I somehow leak through? Do you think it is a bad idea to wear one on the rides or should I not wrry about it? If you think I shouldn’t, what do I do? And if you have a better idea instead of a tampon please tell me. Thanks

The chances of it getting stuck is so small that it isn’t even a factor, tampons usually get stuck when women forget to take them out before having sex.

I think it’s a good idea to wear it on the rides,pads will be embarrassing and gross to wear. Also the tampons won’t leak if you use the right on for you flow, they’re very safe and if you change them regularly you won’t have anything to worry about.

Remember to start off with the smallest tampon, just to get used to them. Also try and find the applicator ones, since it’s easier to insert and make sure it is deep enough.
