What if your tampon gets stuck inside of you?

What do you do if your tampon gets stuck inside of you, like your string falls off some how?

Answer #1

it shouldn’t. they sew the string onto it.

It is impossible for a tampon to get lost inside of your body, and is a ridiculous thing for you to worry about. The vagina goes up about six to seven inches, and is then blocked off by your cervix, the barrier between the womb and the vagina. The cervical opening is smaller than a pea. For a tampon to enter the cervix would be like an elephant trying to get through a mouse hole. Tampons are made very durable. The string is internally attached to the tampon, making the chances of it falling off miniscule. If it does fall off, all you do is just remove the tampon yourself, with your hands. It’s no biggie :)

UMMM thats not true. I recently inserted one and must of never removed it and inserted another one. And guess what about a week later I was going to the bathroom, movin my bowels and felt something in my vagina pushing down as I was pushing. It was a nasty old tampon that smelled like something horrible. It was brown/black in color which represents old blood. So its possible but probably impossible to be lost forever. Thanks

Answer #4

its really quite impossible but if for some strange reason it does you just call your doctor and remove it…just make sure its not over 8 hrs
